Creating a Job Listing App with the Job Feature

Do you want to build an app where users can find available job listings in a specific location? The ESA platform offers a job feature that lets you do just that. Let’s walk through the steps to integrate this feature into your app:

Step 1: Start Your App

• Go to the ESA website and log in.
• Create a new app or choose an existing one.
• If you’re making a new app, give it a name and create it.

Step 2: Add Job Feature

• Click on “Features” in the menu.
• Find the “Job” feature and click “Add feature.”

Step 3: Customize Job Page

• Give your job page a name and choose an icon.
• You can change the icon to match your app’s style.

Step 4: Set Up Google Maps API Key

• The job feature requires a Google Maps API key.
• Go to “Settings” in the side menu and choose “API Keys.”
• In the Google Maps settings, enter your API key and save it.
• Go back to the features page.

Step 5: Job Settings

• Go to the “Settings” tab.
• Check the “Display icon” box.
• Choose “card” design for the job page.
• Select a currency for the job listings (for example, GBP).

Step 6: Design Your Page

• Go to the “Design” tab.
• You can change the background image.
• Choose images for portrait and landscape modes.
• Click “Save” when you’re done.

Step 7: Add Job Categories

• Go to the “Categories” tab.
• Click (+) to add a new category.
• Enter the name, description, and an icon for the job category.
• Add keywords for easier searching.
• Click “OK” to add the category.

Step 8: Add Companies

• Go to the “Companies” tab.
• Click (+) to add a new company.
• Enter the company’s details, including address and website.
• Add the company logo.
• Click “OK” to add the company.

Step 9: Add Job Listings

• Go to the “Job” tab.
• Click (+) to add new jobs.
• Set an icon and a header image for the job.
• Fill in all required information for job applications.
• Click “OK” to add the job.

Step 10: Preview Your App

• Click “see changes” to see your app on a real device.
• Remember, some features might not work in the preview but will on real devices.
• If you want, you can make a file of your app to share.
